Summa is not accepting new net-30 applications, and has not been for some time — but it is still listed as live across dozens of ranking articles. Here is what actually replaces it, sorted by the bureau you were trying to reach.

A note on terminology used on this page: BCC Supplies does not lend money. A BCC Supplies membership is a commercial installment contract, reported to the business credit bureaus as a business installment tradeline — some pages also describe this as an "installment loan" in a descriptive sense, not a cash loan from a lender. Quick Answer
Summa Office Supplies has stopped accepting new applications. It used to furnish payment history to Equifax Business and Dun & Bradstreet for roughly $75/year. To replace it for free, Uline covers the D&B side and HD Supply covers the Equifax side — together, $0/year for both bureaus Summa covered. If you actually needed Experian Business, Summa never furnished there in the first place.
📌 The short version
✓Summa Office Supplies is closed to new applications — status confirmed 2026 — but still listed as live on many other sites.
✓Uline (D&B + Experian) plus HD Supply (Equifax) replaces everything Summa covered, for $0/year combined.
✓BCC Supplies is not a like-for-like Summa replacement — Summa reported to Equifax and D&B; BCC Supplies reports to Experian Business.
✓If Experian was actually your goal, Summa never furnished there, so its closing may have cost you nothing.
✓Opening several accounts at once isn't automatically better — a tradeline only helps if it's paid on time.
📋1. What Happened, and What Summa Was
Summa Office Supplies ran a paid net-30 account — roughly $75 a year — and was one of the more commonly recommended starter vendors, largely because it furnished payment data to Equifax Business and Dun & Bradstreet. It is no longer taking new applications.
The reason you are probably here is that a list told you otherwise. That happens because most net-30 vendor lists are affiliate pages that were written once, never re-checked, and never dated. A vendor closing its program does not generate a press release, so a stale page can keep sending people to a dead application form for years.
Status confirmed 2026. We keep Summa listed and marked closed in our vendor directory rather than deleting it, so you recognize it when you see it recommended somewhere else.
⚖️2. First, the Part Most Pages Leave Out
We are not the like-for-like replacement for Summa. We are a business credit builder, so we are the obvious thing to pitch you here. But Summa reported to Equifax and D&B, and we report to Experian Business. Those do not overlap. If your goal was specifically a PAYDEX score or an Equifax Business file, an account with us does not do that job, and no amount of wanting it to will change that.
So the sections below are ordered by what you were trying to accomplish, not by what we happen to sell. Where the best answer is a competitor — or is free — that is what it says.
🧭3. What to Use Instead, by What You Were After
You wanted the Dun & Bradstreet half of Summa
Because you need a PAYDEX score — for supplier terms, or for government contracting. You will need a DUNS number, which is free from D&B.
Uline
Verified by phone with the credit dept, July 27, 2026 (Nav)
$0/yr, no minimum
Reports to D&B and Experian — not Equifax. No fee, no minimum order, and it covers two bureaus. For most businesses replacing Summa's D&B side, this is the first call.
Quill
Verified by phone with the credit dept, July 24, 2026 (Nav)
$0/yr
D&B only, and reporting is opt-in — you must enroll in the Trade Exchange Program or nothing is furnished at all. $100 initial cart; invoices over $50 are reported. Most lists get both of these details wrong, which is how people end up buying from Quill for months and wondering why nothing posted.
You wanted the Equifax half of Summa
Equifax Business is used by banks and is much harder to see your own file on than Experian — worth knowing before you pay for it.
HD Supply
Verified by phone with the credit dept, July 21, 2026 (Nav)
$0/yr, $50 per order
Equifax only — not D&B, not Experian. It contributes nothing to a PAYDEX score. But it is free, and it is the cleanest no-fee route to an Equifax tradeline.
Office Garner
From the vendor's published terms — not independently confirmed
$69/yr
Equifax, Creditsafe, Ansonia, NACM. Requires an EIN and roughly 30 days in business. $45 minimum order. Note that it also claims SBFE — see the caution below.
The CEO Creative
From the vendor's published terms — three different prices in circulation
$49–$79/yr
Equifax, Creditsafe, FairFigure — and explicitly not D&B or Experian, despite being widely listed as reporting to all three. Confirm the current price with the vendor before you sign up; $49, $69.99 and $79 are all in circulation.
You wanted Experian — which Summa never gave you
Experian Intelliscore Plus is the most widely pulled commercial score. Summa did not report there, so if this is what you actually needed, Summa closing may have saved you $75.
BCC Supplies
Our own terms — stated by us
$19/mo, Foundation plan (48-month term, 0% APR)
Experian Business. New accounts submitted weekly, existing accounts included in a monthly file after that. No purchase minimum — reporting isn't tied to order activity, just your fixed monthly payment. Not D&B on Foundation alone (Momentum adds it); not Equifax on Foundation or Momentum (VIP adds it). Backed by a 90-day Experian reporting guarantee.
Strategic Network Solutions
From the vendor's published terms — not independently confirmed
$0 fee, $90 minimum purchase
Experian and Creditsafe. "No fee" here means the cost sits in the required first purchase rather than in a membership line.
Wise Business Plans
From the vendor's published terms — not independently confirmed
$99/yr
Experian and Equifax. $97–164 minimum order.
🧮4. The No-Fee Way to Replace Summa Entirely
Uline + HD Supply covers everything Summa covered, for $0 a year. Summa's whole proposition was Equifax and D&B for about $75. Uline furnishes to D&B (and Experian, as a bonus Summa never offered). HD Supply furnishes to Equifax. Both are free, both were confirmed by phone with their credit departments in July 2026, and between them you have Summa's coverage plus one bureau more, without a membership fee.
We sell a competing product and we are telling you the free option first, because you would find it anyway and we would rather you found it here.

Opening several accounts at once is not automatically better than opening one. Every one of these is a real supply account with real invoices, and a tradeline only helps you if it is paid on time. Open what you will actually use.
SBFE membership explicitly excludes trade credit providers. A net-30 office supplier cannot be an SBFE furnisher itself — we cannot, and neither can the vendors above that list it. Data can reach SBFE indirectly through a member institution, but that is a different claim from "we report to SBFE." Where you see it on a supply vendor's page, treat it as unverified until the vendor explains the mechanism.
🔎6. If You Already Applied to Summa, or Paid Them
Check whether anything was ever furnished. Pull your Experian Business file and, if you have a DUNS number, look at what D&B holds. A tradeline you paid for but that never posted is worth knowing about before you spend on a replacement.
If you were charged and never received an account, contact the vendor in writing first. If that goes nowhere, a card dispute is the normal route — time limits apply, so do not sit on it.
Do not assume the tradeline transfers. Nothing about a closed vendor's program carries over to another vendor. A new account starts a new payment history.
Replace by bureau, not by brand. Work out which bureau you actually needed — the sections above are organized that way for exactly this reason — and pick the cheapest vendor that reports there.
🚫7. What None of These Vendors Can Promise You
Whichever of the above you choose, including us: a vendor controls what it submits. The bureau controls what posts to your file, and what any score derived from it looks like. Nobody on this page can promise you a score, a number of points, a PAYDEX figure, a dollar amount of funding, a timeline, or an approval.
What a vendor can honestly tell you is its own process. Ours: we submit new accounts weekly and existing accounts monthly, to Experian Business. If a vendor will not state its cadence and its bureaus that plainly, that is worth noticing.
Replace the Experian Side With a Guaranteed Tradeline
BCC Supplies reports to Experian Business on Foundation, backed by a 90-day reporting guarantee — confirmed on a report we pull ourselves, not just a claim on our own page.
Rows marked with a 2026 phone-verification date were confirmed by telephone with the vendor's own credit department, cited above as Nav's calls rather than our own. Rows marked “not independently confirmed” come from the vendor's published terms, which vendors change without notice. See the full method on our vendor directory.
Did Summa Office Supplies furnish any tradelines before closing?
Possibly — if you applied or paid before it stopped accepting applications. Pull your Experian Business file and, if you have a DUNS number, check what D&B holds to see whether anything actually posted.
Is BCC Supplies a direct replacement for Summa?
No. Summa reported to Equifax Business and Dun & Bradstreet; BCC Supplies reports to Experian Business on Foundation. If Equifax or D&B was your specific goal, HD Supply and Uline are the closer matches.
What's the cheapest way to replace both bureaus Summa covered?
Uline (Dun & Bradstreet, plus Experian as a bonus) and HD Supply (Equifax Business) together cost $0/year and cover everything Summa did.
Can I still find Summa listed as accepting applications elsewhere?
Very likely — that's the specific problem this page exists to address. Most net-30 vendor lists are written once and never re-dated, so a closed program can stay listed as live for years.
Does opening multiple net-30 accounts at once help more than one?
Not automatically. Each account only helps if its invoices are paid on time — quality of payment history matters more than the number of accounts opened.
